Disaster Relief Center of the 24th Military Circle sent a team to help people from a tropical storm “Podul”.

ศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัย มณฑลทหารบกที่ 24 ร่วมกับ กองพันทหารราบที่ 2 กรมทหารราบที่ 13 เข้าช่วยเหลือประชาชน ในการบรรจุกระสอบทราย และวางแนวกั้นน้ำ เพื่อป้องกันน้ำท่วม จากเหตุพายุ “โพดุล” พัดผ่านภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ทำให้มีฝนตกหนัก มีน้ำท่วมขัง และปริมาณน้ำในลำน้ำต่างๆ สูงขึ้น บริเวณลำห้วยหลวง บ้านดงเจริญ และบ้านทุ่งแร่ ซึ่งตลิ่งพังทลาย มีรอยดินแยก และระดับน้ำสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงต้องเร่งดำเนินการโดยด่วน หากตลิ่งพังจะทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วม สร้างความเสียหายต่อชีวิต ทรัพย์สิน และพืชผลทางการเกษตร เป็นอย่างมาก  Disaster Relief Center of the 24th Military Circle and the 2nd Infantry Battalion, the 13th Infantry Regiment, helped villagers fill up sandbags and make embankment at Huai Luang to prevent flood in the floodplain. A tropical storm “Podul” caused a heavy rain at Dongcharern village and Thungrae village, which then raised the water level up and damaged the river banks of Huai Luang. The embankment prevented soil erosion and river overflow.
