กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ร่วมกับกรมฝนหลวงและการบินเกษตร จัดกิจกรรมการปั้นเมล็ดพันธุ์พืชในโครงการปลูกป่าและไม้ยืนต้นสร้างความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ในอากาศ เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติการฝนหลวงสืบสานศาสตร์พระราชา และพระราชินีเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก ในครั้งนี้ใช้เมล็ดพันธุ์มะขามป้อมและสาทร เพื่อนำไปโปรยอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ และป่าทับลานโดยมี พลตรี ราชันย์ ประจันตะเสน เลขาธิการกองอำนวยการรักษาความมั่นคงภายในภาค 2 เป็นประธาน นำกำลังพลและประชาชนจิตอาสาพระราชทาน 904 วปร. ร่วมกันปั้น ณ กองพันทหารสื่อสารที่ 22 กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ค่ายสุรนารี จ.นครราชสีมา

The 2nd Army Area and the Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation arrange an activity to prepare seeds used in the forestation project called “Growing forest and perennial plant, creating relative humidity in the air, improving efficiency for Royal rainmaking operation, espousing king and queen’s philosophy and celebrating the auspicious of ceremony for the coronation of the king”. The seeded plants used in this project are Indian gooseberry tree and Sathorn tree, which then will be grown at Khaoyai National Park and Tublan National Park later on. MAJ GEN Rachan Prachantasen, the secretary of Internal Security Operations Command Area 2, leads a military personnel and Royalist volunteers to prepare the seeds at the 22nd Communication Battalion, the 2nd Army Area, Suranaree Camp, Nakhonratchasima province.
